Welcome to seyden.net. a reliable, independent source for up to the minute news about the U.S. Forest Service. In this era of information overload, we will attempt to save you time and provide “added value” by sorting through countless stories and sharing what we consider the day’s two or three most “newsworthy” stories about the U.S. Forest Service.
Each day, we will display titles, excerpts and links to the complete texts of the day’s top stories about the US Forest Service. While story selection is inherently subjective, we will do our best to share articles in an unbiased, even handed manner, no matter what the viewpoints expressed in the stories.
To make it easier to find current and past stories, there is a search bar at the upper right of the main page. Also, the right side bar of the front page offers a recent posts list, an archived stories calendar, and a tag cloud to assist you in finding news stories by date and subject matter. Please note that if any link to an older news story no longer works, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a copy of the original article.
Those wanting a more complete review of daily news about National Forests or the U.S. Forest Service are encouraged to click on the “Search Engines” tab on the top of the main page. Clicking on any of the customized search engine queries on the “Search Engines” page will give an up-to-the-minute list of recent news stories about the Forest Service sorted by “most recent first. ” The search engines are listed in the order in which I have found them complete and on target.
While primarily an independent source for news about the Forest Service, Seyden.net also contains information about the availability of our professional facilitation services. Also, when available, we can provide pure local honey from our own “Bee Here Now Apiary” located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina.
