Commercial rafting customers arrive at the put-ins by the bus load, and when the Tennessee Valley Authority turns off the whitewater during the week, the crowds converge on the upper Ocoee to picnic and swim at the Ocoee Whitewater Center, a $25 million facility built for the 1996 Olympic slalom races…..”

USDA’s Sherman discusses forest transition in Juneau
